learnd acquires Aimteq & WEMS, adding world-class delivery capability to its unique ‘building performance as a service’ offering.
The acquisition represents the latest step in the journey to help customers across the UK get more from their buildings through guaranteed outcomes.
To enable learnd to deliver on its vision, the Company has acquired ESH – the holding company that owns well-established built environment brands Aimteq and WEMS. The brands were chosen for their combination of prestigious customer base, best-in-class engineering capability and trusted strategic partnerships with the world’s leading building management product and software companies.
With 50 field-based engineers, a Remote Operations Centre (ROC) managing over 1,800 sites and a highly experienced, agile development team, Aimteq and WEMS are the perfect addition to learnd, demonstrating their relentless drive to deliver for their customers.
Day to day operations
The acquisition will not affect day to day operations of Aimteq or WEMS, with the focus of the team, as always, delivering for customers. Both companies will continue to operate from their bases in Stockport, London and Cirencester.
The 117 staff currently employed by Aimteq and WEMS will remain and continue to excel in their existing roles.
The acquisition will also allow Aimteq and WEMS’ customers to carry on benefiting from their existing delivery capability, and if they choose to, take advantage of learnd’s unique offerings -getting exactly what they want and need from their buildings, guaranteed – with little or no upfront investment.
