Our Vision

Creating a world where all buildings deliver outcomes for everyone.

It’s a democratised, wide-reaching vision that we feel strongly about. We are here to drive a step change in the way critical building systems are managed so our customers experience better buildings.

We can’t achieve this alone – we want the entire industry to come on the journey with us and we are doing our best to make learnd a great place for individuals to get involved.

A career at learnd means you will play an important part in achieving our vision – whether that be as a field engineer, supporting customers remotely from our ROC, developing our new products in learnd labs or supporting the business in our central service functions.

If you really want to make a difference at work – reducing carbon emissions, making building occupants happier and changing the world, learnd could be the place for you.

Continual Improvement

BEMS Apprenticeship

Supporting new engineering talent in the building controls industry.

We’re one of several employers in the building technology arena looking to try and put things right. The Building Controls Industry Association and their Trailblazer Apprenticeship group have developed a BEMS Apprenticeship scheme to help new talent enter the industry. The apprenticeship will help young people acquire the legacy and contemporary skills required to drive building technology forward into the next generation of smarter, healthier, more efficient buildings.

We will be shining a light on our BEMS apprentices with a series of guest blog posts. Catch the latest from the building technology front line over at our blog.

Management Training

Developing soft skills across our businesses.

It’s not just hard skills, like installing controls hardware or wiring panels that are important to us. Soft skills are equally important.

We’re dedicated to helping our staff develop better soft skills when dealing with one another, with customers or third parties. These soft skills include things like time management, teamwork, communication and critical thinking; we do this through the learnd Academy.
